Bidspirit auction | Leather Wrapped Tiger Figurine

Leather Wrapped Tiger Figurine - A handcrafted figurine of a tiger, constructed with a tan-orange leather covering over a molded form. The tiger is depicted in a naturalistic prowling stance with an arched back, forward-leaning head, and an open mouth. The surface is hand-painted with black stripes in a pattern characteristic of the species. The head is detailed with two inset green glass or plastic eyes and small, white pointed elements representing teeth within the mouth. Construction seams are visible along the underside of the tail and the paws, indicating the leather-wrapping technique. No maker's marks, labels, or country-of-origin stamps are visible on the object.Measurements/notes: Tiger approximately 14 in. L x 7 in. H.
