US Military Buttons & Hardware Group - An assortment of U.S. military uniform items, primarily constructed of brass and other metals, featuring the Great Seal of the United States. The collection includes several convex uniform buttons with screw-back and shank attachments. A large circular openwork cap badge displays the eagle motif within a ring, and a smaller separate eagle device is also present. The reverse of one button features a circular impressed mark reading WATERBURY BUTTON CO. CONN. and another bears an impressed mark for ART METAL WORKS NEWARK N.J. Also included is a die-cast gray metal winged insignia featuring a central shield with a stylized cross, marked on the reverse with the name Movelette.Measurements/notes: 8 pins and a medallion; medallion 2 x 2.5 in.
