Set Leather Sleigh Straps w/ Brass - This lot comprises a group of leather sleigh bell straps, traditionally used for equine harnesses. The straps are constructed from thick, dark brown harness leather, featuring a variety of spherical brass crotal bells. Each bell is designed with a traditional single slit and two circular holes at the ends of the slit to facilitate sound resonance. The bells are secured to the leather straps using metal rivets visible on the reverse side of the leather. The straps vary in length and feature simple iron or steel buckles and punched holes for adjustment and fastening.
