Vanguard U.S. Navy Officer Sword - A United States Navy officer's ceremonial dress sword and matching scabbard. The stainless steel blade features etched decorative scrollwork including floral patterns and a central eagle motif. On one side near the hilt, the blade bears a printed mark consisting of a stylized eagle above a large V containing the word VANGUARD and the word STAINLESS printed vertically below it. The hilt is constructed with a gold-toned metal D-guard and pommel featuring ornate oak leaf and acorn relief patterns. The pommel cap is embossed with a fouled anchor encircled by thirteen stars. The grip is composed of a textured white material resembling rayskin, wrapped with twisted gold-toned wire.
