Hardboard Santa Sleigh & Reindeer - A group of vintage mid-century seasonal decorations featuring Santa Claus in a sleigh and several reindeer figures. These flat-profile cutouts are constructed from painted hardboard. The sleigh is decorated in green and red with cream-colored runners and contains an assortment of toys, including a drum, packages, and a Christmas tree. Santa is depicted in a traditional red suit with white trim. The reindeer are painted in shades of brown and cream with red harnesses. Each reindeer grouping is identified by name in red capitalized lettering on a cream-colored neck band: BLITZEN, DANCER, DASHER, VIXEN, PRANCER, CUPID, and COMET. The reverse sides are unpainted and show irregular patches of brown adhesive residue and surface paper loss. One reindeer pair measures approximately 10 inches across the widest point.
