Czechoslovakian Violin, Guarnerius Copy - A vintage full-size violin featuring a two-piece flamed maple back and ribs with a strong horizontal figure, a spruce top, and ebony fittings. The instrument is finished in a reddish-brown varnish. The headstock scroll leads to a pegbox with four ebony tuning pegs. The fingerboard, tailpiece, and side-mounted chin rest are also constructed from ebony. An interior printed paper label visible through the f-hole reads COPY OF Joseph Guarnerius Made in Czecho-Slowakia. Length: 23.5 inches (measured from top of scroll to bottom edge of body).
