Set 3 Walking Sticks & Str. Bamboo Cane - A trio of antique walking canes featuring various materials and handle designs. The first cane is constructed with a bamboo shaft showing natural nodal markings. It features an L-shaped handle fitted with a silver-toned metal cap decorated with chased scrollwork. The metal cap bears an impressed mark in a rectangular cartouche reading STERLING. The second cane is made of dark-stained wood with a curved crook handle. The end of the handle is adorned with an oval silver-toned presentation plate secured with small pins. The plate is engraved in cursive script with H. G. Fall over OBERLIN and the date 1912. The third cane is wrapped in a dark textured material with a right-angle handle. The shaft is accented with silver-toned metal bands and terminates in a long, tapered metal ferrule at the tip.
