Pullman Railroad Conductor Step Stool - A vintage industrial metal step stool, commonly referred to as a conductor stool, specifically manufactured for railroad service. The stool is constructed with a flared, heavy-duty metal base featuring two integrated horizontal oval cutout handles for carrying. The front face of the red-painted base bears the name PULLMAN embossed in large block capital characters. A rectangular metal top plate with a dark gray finish is mounted to the base and held in place by four slotted-head screws.
