3 Wood Line Winders & 4 Painted Floats - This group of fishing equipment consists of three hand-carved wooden line winders and four red-painted wooden floats, identified for use in Muskellunge (Muskie) fishing. The winders are flat wooden planks with V-shaped notches at both ends to secure the line. Each winder is wrapped with a significant quantity of heavy braided cord. The floats are constructed of turned wood with a red finish and include metal screw-eye hardware for line attachment. The wooden winders measure approximately 15 inches in length as shown on the tape measure (photo 4). The wooden floats measure approximately 8 inches in length.
