Set 6 Art Glass: 5 Paperweights & Bird - An assortment of six decorative art glass pieces, comprising one bird figurine and five spherical paperweights featuring various internal decorative techniques. The bird is fashioned in a stylized, seated form with an emerald green body containing internal murrine or millefiori inclusions in shades of red, white, and blue. Its head and beak are finished in deep cobalt blue glass, and the tail features pulled glass detailing. The paperweights utilize a variety of techniques. The largest clear spherical weight features a dense internal bullicante or controlled bubble pattern distributed throughout the clear glass. A second paperweight displays a traditional millefiori design with concentric rows of multicolored canes in red, white, cobalt blue, and yellow. A third clear weight contains an encased lampwork floral motif, centered with a pink and white blossom and speckled white and yellow petal details. A fourth clear paperweight depicts two white geese with orange beaks flying above a textured cobalt blue base, resembling a seascape or stylized wave. The fifth paperweight is a smaller amber-toned sphere with a grid of controlled bubbles arranged in a spiral pattern. No maker signatures are visible on any of the pieces.
