Spalted Maple Live Edge Studio Table - This custom-made studio or work table features a contemporary industrial design utilizing a repurposed mechanical base. The table top consists of a single, thick solid wood slab of spalted maple, defined by its irregular live edges and characteristic dark spalting lines caused by fungi. The wood grain displays a prominent central knot feature. The top is mounted to a black-painted metal scissor-lift pantograph mechanism that allows for height adjustment. This mechanism is supported by a unique tripod rolling base. The three horizontal supports of the base are encased in heavy-duty coiled springs and terminate in metal swivel casters, two of which are fitted with foot brakes.55x21 adjustable stand.
