Scientific Lab Scale w/ Iron Stand - This laboratory apparatus features a curved hardwood scale mounted on a vertical adjustable support. The arc is constructed from wood with a natural finish and is secured to a metal mounting bracket by two screws visible on the rear. The face of the arc features a burnt or stamped scale with a central vertical index line flanked by two zeros. Numerical markings extend in both directions from the center in increments of five, reading 5, 10, 15, and 20, with individual units denoted by smaller tick marks. The vertical support is a black-finished steel rod threaded into a heavy, rectangular cast iron base with a tiered profile and textured surface. A metal boss-head style clamp with a T-handle screw allows for the height and rotation of the wooden arc to be adjusted along the rod.
