Niko Scrimshaw Powder Horns 1997 & 1999 - This lot consists of two contemporary hand-crafted powder horns featuring decorative scrimshaw work, constructed using traditional methods for the black powder or historical reenactment market. Near the base, an incised feather cartouche is hand-inscribed Niko # 7 8-20-97 Masters Maker. The second, smaller horn is similarly constructed from polished natural horn with a flush convex wooden base plug. Dimensions: approx. 12 in. and 19 in. L.
