Art Deco Smoking Stand w/ Uranium Glass - An Art Deco floor-standing smoking stand constructed from black-painted metal with brass components. The stand features a weighted domed circular base leading to a vertical stem with a decorative urn-shaped mid-section and a circular top tray with a fixed arched carrying handle. The base and the stem urn are decorated with stenciled gilt-painted ivy vine motifs. A removable translucent green pressed-glass ashtray insert sits within the top tray. The glass insert is designed with a central rayed sunburst pattern, two parallel raised match or cigarette bars in the center, and a wide rim featuring four cigarette rests and a repeating grid-patterned border. The metal components show brass-finished ferrules at the joints and base. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the exterior or the underside of the base. Dimensions: 28 in tall.
