Vtg Cherub Ashtray Stand w/ Ruby Prisms - A vintage tabletop ashtray stand featuring a central cast metal figure of a standing, partially draped cherub or putto. The figure is finished in a gold tone and stands upon an ornate, four-footed cast metal base with foliate and scroll motifs. A circular white marble plinth sits between the figure and the base. The upper portion consists of a clear pressed glass ashtray with four cigarette rests and a central silver-toned ring handle. The ashtray is supported by a large, faceted ruby red glass prism, which sits atop a decorative metal collar. The collar is adorned with several teardrop-shaped ruby red glass prisms. A white rectangular adhesive paper label is affixed to the interior of the glass ashtray bowl, reading Lighter collection online only, Alden Helseth Auctions, Lighter collection ruber ruby, and 248. No other signatures, stamps, or maker marks are visible on the metal, stone, or glass components. Dimensions: 23 in tall.
