Viking & Nesor Glass Table Lighters - An assortment of mid-century modern table lighters featuring decorative glass bases, primarily in honey amber tones. The collection includes two tapered, diamond-faceted amber glass lighters with chrome-plated lift-arm mechanisms marked JAPAN. One bears a transparent rectangular adhesive label reading VIKING HAND MADE and a small paper price sticker marked 415. The second matching faceted lighter features a red rectangular label with a white ship icon and text reading VIKING HAND MADE. A flared amber glass pedestal lighter is included, featuring a controlled bubble or bullicante style base; a silver-tone foil label on the neck reads HAND CUT CRYSTAL NESOR GENUINE. The chrome mechanism on this piece is also marked JAPAN. The set further contains a dark amber glass lighter in a scalloped lotus form, which rests within a matching circular ashtray base. The chrome mechanism is marked JAPAN, and a partially removed, unreadable rectangular label is visible on the side of the glass insert. Also present is a square amber glass lighter base featuring large circular concave indents on four sides, fitted with a chrome mechanism marked JAPAN. Completing the collection is a faceted clear glass lighter with yellow-stained panels and white enameled scrolling filigree decoration. The gold-tone mechanism on this piece is stamped W. GERMANY on the side. Dimensions: 3.5 to 6 in high.
