Kreisler & Tealine Metal Table Lighters - A collection of three vintage table lighters featuring metal construction and distinct decorative styles. The first is a spherical lighter with a satin-finished white metal body decorated with etched ribbon and swag motifs. The base of this sphere features a recessed metal disk impressed with the characters CONTEMPO BY KREISLER PAT. PEND. (photo 9). The second lighter has a cylindrical body with a hammered texture and three applied shield-shaped emblems depicting a figure in a uniform and broad-brimmed hat. The lift-arm mechanism of this piece is impressed with the text TEALINE followed by a registered trademark symbol (photo 3). The third lighter consists of a bulbous, dark-toned base with a heavily textured, uneven surface. The chrome-plated ignition mechanism is impressed with the word JAPAN on the central hinge (photo 4).
