Ronson & Canterbury Vtg Table Lighters - A collection of metal table lighters in various decorative forms including urns, boat shapes, a cornucopia, and Aladdin-style oil lamps. The assortment features pieces finished in silver plate and chrome. A boat-shaped lighter features an impressed mark on the underside reading MADE IN ENGLAND R. DESIGN PATENTED adjacent to a black plastic fill dial marked with a RONSON R trademark. A tall footed urn-shaped lighter is stamped on the base with the name Canterbury SILVER PLATE beneath three distinct symbols: a bird, an eight-pointed star, and a crown. A squat urn-shaped lighter with vertical ribbing retains a silver foil label on its base reading Varaflame Crown fashioned by RONSON Woodbridge, N.J. U.S.A. The cornucopia-style lighter has a footed base with a hammered texture and the impressed mark JAPAN. A small oval lighter with a vertically ribbed body is marked MADE IN ITALY on the underside. The lot includes two Aladdin-style lamp lighters, one with a polished chrome finish and one in silver plate featuring scroll handles. All units are in untested condition and are missing fuel.
