Ronson, Worcester & OMSCO-LITE Lighters - An assortment of vintage mid-century table lighters in various decorative forms, including urns, pedestals, and oblong shapes. The lot features pieces constructed from chrome-plated metal, silver-plated metal, brass-toned metal, and English pewter, with one example featuring a wood veneer wrap. Several pieces retain manufacturer marks on their bases. One fluted gold-tone lighter is marked RONSON NEWARK N.J. U.S.A. QUEEN ANNE U.S. PAT. NO. 2481195 PATENTED. An ivory-toned urn-form lighter bears a base mark reading RONSON NEWARK N.J. U.S.A. U.S. PATENT RE NO. 19025 CANADA PATS - 288148 - 289889 X RONSON MAYFAIR TRADE MARK. A tapered pewter lighter is marked on the underside of the base with The Worcester Silver Co. Inc NEW YORK LONDON ENGLISH PEWTER MADE IN SHEFFIELD ENGLAND. A chrome-plated pedestal lighter is marked OMSCO-LITE SUPER LIGHTER on its base. Another chrome lighter base shows a partial manufacturer mark for RONSON and PATERSON. One oblong lighter features a wood veneer body and a green felt-covered base. A shallow, dish-shaped chrome lighter bears a yellow adhesive price tag reading 6.00 on the upper surface. The collection includes various internal spark and fuel mechanisms, which have not been tested for functionality.
