Vtg English Bruyere Pipe & Donkey Stand - An English smoking pipe and a figural cast metal pipe stand. The pipe is a billiard style crafted with a wooden bowl and a translucent, swirled orange and brown stem. The side of the shank features an impressed mark reading BRUYERE and MADE IN ENGLAND. The pipe stand is a dark-toned cast metal figure of a donkey or mule standing on a naturalistic rock-form base. The back of the animal is shaped to support the pipe shank, while a curved tray at its feet supports the bowl. A white inventory string is tied around the shank and through the base of the stand.
