5 Marine Cast Metal Ashtrays & Dishes - A collection of five cast metal items featuring marine motifs, consisting of four pieces in solid brass and one in a silver-toned metal. The set includes three stylized whales with wide-open mouths, where the lower jaw contains cigarette rest notches. Two of these whales are solid brass, while the third is a silver-toned cast metal. This silver-toned whale features a textured, cross-hatched surface and bears a raised cast mark on the underside consisting of two lines of characters. The top line reads GEM ACC and the lower line includes the letters ST. This silver-toned whale is by Gem Accessories. The collection also includes a cast brass conch shell ashtray with a cigarette rest at the aperture and a brass scallop shell dish. The scallop dish is supported by three small ball feet and features a textured exterior with a scalloped rim. All pieces are produced using a mold-casting or sand-casting process.
