Vtg Cast Brass Jet Fighter Ashtray - A solid cast brass model of a stylized jet fighter aircraft, designed for use as a desk accessory. The fuselage features a recessed central cavity intended for use as an ashtray. A swiveling, semi-circular cigarette rest is mounted on a central pin behind the cockpit area. The aircraft is rendered with swept-back wings and an oval nose intake, reminiscent of mid-20th-century Cold War era jet designs. The piece exhibits a trench art aesthetic with hand-finished details. The underside of the fuselage contains a longitudinal slot for a mounting pedestal. No maker marks, signatures, or hallmarks are visible on the object. A small circular indentation on the port side of the nose appears to be a casting artifact. Dimensions: 7.5 in long.
