Japanese Ceramic Horse-Head Lighters - A set of three graduated vintage Japanese glazed ceramic table lighters designed as stylized horse-head chess knights. Each piece is finished in a high-gloss dark brown glaze with hand-painted accents depicting gold-tone bridles and white and blue eyes. The top of each head is fitted with a removable metal cigarette lighter mechanism with a chrome finish. The smallest figurine bears the incised characters JAPAN on the underside of the base. The middle unit has a green felt base with a partial and illegible adhesive sticker. The largest unit features a green felt base with a handwritten ink inscription that reads 5/30/69 over Cedar Point. Dimensions: 5.5 to 8 in tall.
