Chrome Montreal Bullet Ashtray/Lighter - A vintage souvenir ashtray and lighter combination constructed from chrome or nickel-plated metal. The piece features a circular base with two integrated cigarette rests. Rising from the center is a vertical post shaped like a large-caliber bullet or projectile. A horizontal seam near the midpoint of the projectile indicates a removable cap, typical of table lighters from this period. The outer rim of the base is engraved with the words Montreal Canada in a cursive script. A piece of white cotton twine is tied around the lower section of the central post. The item exhibits characteristics common to mid-twentieth-century trench art style souvenir ware. No manufacturer marks, patent numbers, or other identifiers are visible on the exterior surfaces.
