The collection includes examples of the Ronson Crown model and a lighter by A.S.R. Underside markings on the Ronson pieces include impressed text reading RONSON, a circled R, NEWARK N.J. U.S.A., and RONSON CROWN, accompanied by patent information such as U.S. PATENT 2,481,195 and U.S. PAT. NO 19023. One Ronson base retains a circular white adhesive label with blue ink reading LIGHTER SILVER PLATE RONSON $18.00, and another example is marked U.S. PAT. PEND. The A.S.R. lighter base bears an impressed mark reading A.S.R, a circled R, LIGHTER, and MADE IN U.S.A. Top striker mechanisms feature screws stamped with the words FILL HERE.
