3 Vtg Ronson Varaflame Lighters & Boxes - An assortment of three vintage Ronson Varaflame butane cigarette lighters, each accompanied by a branded presentation case. The collection includes two Varaflame Premier models and one smaller Varaflame model. The two Premier models are finished in polished chrome featuring an engine-turned horizontal line pattern and a streamlined teardrop motif on the side. The base of each Premier lighter is stamped with text reading ? RONSON CORP. WOODBRIDGE, N.J. U.S.A. VARAFLAME PREMIER and includes US patent numbers 2,481,195, 2,820,643, 2,637,990, RE.24,163, D177,150, 2,882,940, and 2,845,851. A circular adjustment dial on the base is marked OPEN FOR FLINT. The third, smaller lighter features a satin-silver finish with a central gold-tone crown emblem surrounded by a starburst engraving. Its base is stamped PATENTED, OPEN FOR FLINT, and RONSON? REG. TM, and indicates it was made in England. The Premier lighters are housed in hinged cases with lid interiors printed in red reading BUTANE Varaflame PREMIER by RONSON? WORLD'S GREATEST LIGHTER.
