Silver-Plated Western Revolver Box - A rectangular silver-plated metal trinket box featuring a Western design. The hinged lid is ornamented with a high-relief depiction of a single-action revolver decorated with scrollwork and a five-pointed star on the grip. The background of the lid has a pebbled texture and includes a small foliate spray in one corner with traces of red enamel. The four sides of the box are heavily embossed with floral and foliate scrollwork, including central rose motifs. The box rests on four integral, flared feet. The interior of the lid is lined with red velvet, while the main compartment is unlined. The underside of the box features a textured, vertically-striated pattern.
