Vtg Metal Equine & Travel Dish/Ashtrays - A collection of vintage metal decorative items and ashtrays featuring various subject matters and materials. The assortment includes a cast iron profile of a horse head with a black finish. A brass souvenir dish is shaped like a frying pan and features an embossed design of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial; the interior is embossed with the text ”MOUNT RUSHMORE NATIONAL MEMORIAL” and ”BLACK HILLS - SOUTH DAKOTA”. The group features a Japanese coppery-toned fish-shaped dish with an impressed mark reading ”JAPAN” on the reverse fin area. Also included is a Japanese flat, dark-finished fish-shaped dish; the reverse is impressed with the word ”JAPAN” above a circular mark containing a character that appears to be the Japanese katakana ”chi” (?) or a stylized ”H”. Completing the collection is a bowling pin-shaped ashtray made of a silver-toned cast metal with a green felt-covered base. Dimensions: largest 8 in long.
