Cast Bronze Classical Warrior & Chariot - A cast bronze sculpture depicting a classical warrior standing within a biga, or two-horse chariot. The figure is portrayed in a dynamic combat pose, wearing a crested helmet, a short tunic, and greaves while brandishing a circular shield and a raised javelin. The chariot features spoked wheels and is drawn by a pair of galloping horses joined by a central yoke. The piece is executed with a rustic, coarse casting quality characterized by significant surface pitting and irregular textures throughout, intended to mimic an ancient Greek or Etruscan artifact. The entire surface is covered in a dense, textured green verdigris patina designed to simulate an excavated or aged appearance. No maker marks, signatures, hallmarks, or labels are visible on any part of the bronze surface or the wheels. A blank white string tag is attached to the right arm of the warrior.
