Set 9 Vtg Novelty Beer & Soda Lighters - A collection of nine vintage novelty lighters modeled after iconic beer and soda containers, featuring brands such as Miller High Life, Stroh's Bohemian Style Beer, Ballantine Premium Lager Beer, Pepsi-Cola, Primo Hawaiian Beer, Budweiser King of Beers, and Coors Premium. The group consists of six larger table-style lighters and three smaller pocket-sized versions. Most of the items are constructed of lithographed tinplate with integrated metal lighter mechanisms. The Primo lighter is unique, formed from a small brown glass bottle with a paper label and embossed text near the neck reading NOT TO BE REFILLED. The Stroh's can includes a Fight Litter hand graphic. The three smaller lighters are designed to function as decorative sleeves for standard disposable lighters. Several items retain readable labels on their bases. A rectangular orange and white adhesive label on the Pepsi-Cola can base reads MADE BY A J.A. COMPANY followed by a stylized JA logo and 150 10TH AVENUE NORTH / NASHVILLE, TN. 242-5488. A square red and white label on the base of the Stroh's can reads MADE BY A J.A. COMPANY surrounding a diamond logo with the text JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT. Several items have non-original white adhesive price tags, including one on a Miller can marked 10.00 and others marked 1.50 A and 46. Dimensions: 3.5 to 6 in tall.
