Art Deco Chrome & Pink Slag Smoke Stand - This Art Deco period floor standing smoking stand is constructed from chrome plated base metal with decorative marbled slag glass accents. The central fluted chrome stem is bifurcated by two marbled glass components in a swirl of pink and cream colors: a conical section at the midpoint and a bell shaped section at the lower portion. The stand rests on a circular tiered and stepped chrome base. The top assembly features a lobed tray with four circular apertures designed to hold removable ashtrays. Three chrome plated ashtray inserts are present, each featuring a wide rim with two cigarette rests. A decorative cast chrome handle with a curved grip is mounted to the center of the tray. The tray surface is embellished with embossed equestrian and western motifs, including a horse drawn stagecoach, a coiled whip, and a leather belt with harness hardware. A white adhesive lot tag with a barcode and the printed number 95 is attached to the top tray assembly. A small tan string tag with the handwritten number 65.00 is tied to the central handle. No maker marks, signatures, or country of origin stamps are visible on the object. Dimensions: 28 in tall.
