1954 Ford Hood Ornament Assembly - A two-piece chrome-plated cast metal hood ornament assembly produced by the Ford Motor Company for 1954 passenger vehicles. The assembly features a stylized swept-wing jet plane design. The underside of the upper ornament is cast with a Ford script logo inside an oval, the number 10715, the part number BJ-16850-A, and the mark R-24. The underside of the mounting base is cast with a Ford script logo inside an oval with an R below it, the number 10716, a small circle containing 54, the part number BJ-16852-A, and the mark 8-32.
