Evans Blue Guilloche Enamel Egg Lighter - A mid-century Evans table lighter designed in the form of a pedestal egg. The exterior is decorated with light blue guilloche enamel over a cross-hatched, engine-turned metal ground. The vessel consists of two hinged halves joined by a gold-toned metal frame featuring a pierced gallery design. The unit is supported by a tripod base with scroll feet. The interior of the lid is finished in matching light blue enamel and features a hand-painted floral sprig depicting a rose. The lower half contains a gold-toned semi-automatic lighter mechanism. The underside of the egg, visible through the base, features an oval textured metal plate with the incised mark EVANS. Dimensions: 3.25 in long.
