A silver-tone Ronson Varaflame Standard lighter with a textured basketweave case is housed in a tan box with a red printed liner marked BUTANE, RONSON, VARAFLAME, and STANDARD (photo 5). A slim silver-tone pocket lighter with an engine-turned cross-hatch pattern is paired with a black textured box containing a gold-tone plate reading BUTANE LIGHTER SCRIPTO, INC. (photo 3). The exterior of this black box features the Scripto name in silver-tone script and a small piece of tan adhesive tape marked with the number 6 (photo 7). The final lighter is a gold-tone model with a smooth finish and a small etched insect motif; it is housed in a brown box with a liner printed in black reading FLAMEX, Tempest, and PIEZO ELECTRONIC (photo 2). The front of this lighter also features an illegible script monogram (photo 2). The pieces appear to be constructed from plated base metals.
