Royal Musical MR-500 Music Box Lighter - A Japanese gas lighter with an integrated music box mechanism, model MR-500. The lighter is constructed with a rectangular gold-toned metal body featuring a brushed finish and decorated with two etched silver-toned starburst motifs on the front face. The top assembly, including the flip-cap and ignition components, features a polished chrome or nickel-plated finish. The side of the lighter bears a black oval adhesive label printed with the text Lara, s Theme. The reverse side is equipped with a circular metal winding key for the music box and a semi-circular regulator dial marked with the characters S and F. The base of the lighter is engraved in cursive script with the name Royal Musical. The item is contained within its original red plastic presentation box. The interior of the box lid features a gold-toned foil label printed with Royal Musical, MR-500, GAS LIGHTER, and musical staff graphics including a treble clef and notes. The exterior lid of the box has a small rectangular label reading Musical GAS LIGHTER. A small white rectangular sticker on the bottom of the box is printed with the characters MADE IN JAPAN.
