Vtg Pipes, Carousel Rack & Humidor Jar - An assortment of vintage smoking pipes featuring various shapes, finishes, and materials, accompanied by a tiered wooden storage rack. The carousel rack consists of two circular wooden platforms supported by turned pillars, with the upper tier containing bored holes for pipe stems and the lower tier featuring recessed rests for bowls. At the center sits an amber glass humidor jar with a textured exterior and the word HUMIDOR in raised block letters. The jar is finished with a circular wooden lid and a spherical wooden finial. The pipes include straight and bent billiard, pot, and apple shapes in smooth, sandblasted, and rustic carved finishes. One novelty pipe features a bowl modeled as the character Mickey Mouse wearing a red hat with a white stem. Markings found on the pipes include an impressed mark on one shank reading HEAT TREATER AND BLASTING CO and another reading BUSHNELL. One pipe bears an impressed mark reading WILLARD over IMPORTED BRIAR. A smooth briar pipe retains a yellow rectangular adhesive label on the bowl reading NIAGARA FALLS CANADA. Several stems feature inlaid or printed logos including a white spade, a white diamond, and a yellow dot. Another shank is impressed with the text IMPORTED BRIAR. The collection includes pipes of briar wood with vulcanite and plastic stems.
