A Coiled Rattlesnake Chalkware Figurine - A cast plaster or chalkware figurine of a coiled rattlesnake. The snake is modeled in a circular, resting position with its head slightly elevated and its segmented rattle tucked into the interior coil. The surface is heavily textured to simulate individual scales and the segmented structure of the rattle, finished in a matte, earth-toned wash. The head features two small, translucent red bead eyes set into the sockets. The underside of the circular base is flat and shows pitting and air bubble voids characteristic of the casting process.
