Vtg Lift-Arm Tavern Table Lighter - A vintage petrol table lighter featuring a lift-arm mechanism and a silver-toned metal body. The exterior is decorated with high-relief cast tavern scenes on both major faces, depicting figures in 17th-century style dress engaged in drinking and smoking within a rustic interior. The mechanical assembly on the top plate consists of a spring-loaded snuffer arm, a cylindrical wick housing, and a horizontal flint wheel secured by flat-head screws. The underside bears an impressed monogram consisting of the characters K and W in an intertwined script within a rectangular border (photo 5). Also adhered to the base is a yellow rectangular label reading KEY-BUY 75.00 (photo 5). The construction appears to be silver-plated base metal, showing typical characteristics of mid-20th-century German manufacture. Dimensions: 2.75 in diameter.
