Pair Art Deco Chrome Monoplane Lighters - A pair of American Art Deco table lighters designed in the form of stylized monoplanes. Each item is manufactured from chrome-plated cast metal and features a high-wing configuration, a two-blade propeller with a black gasket, and a full tail assembly. The airplanes are mounted on flared circular pedestal bases. The top of the fuselage houses a black rectangular striker mechanism. One base bottom features a black circular plate with a textured surface, held by two screws. The plate is embossed with the following characters: FUEL at the top, MADE IN U.S.A. along the right side, FLINT at the bottom, and PAT. PEND. on the left side. A circular mark containing a shield with a stylized letter E is centered between the screws. The mechanical operation of the lighters has not been tested. Dimensions: 5 x 6 in.
