Two English Camel Lighters w/ 1934 Fair - Two English cast metal dromedary camel-form table lighters. The first figure is finished in a gold-toned wash over a cast alloy body. It features a hinged hump that opens to reveal a lighter mechanism. The top of the hump is decorated with a multi-colored circular adhesive decal depicting a building under the text TRAVEL & TRANSPORT BLDG. with the date 1934 below. The underside of the body is impressed with the serial number 39876 and the words MADE IN ENGLAND and PATENT. The second figure features a black-painted finish and an integrated lift-arm lighter mechanism mounted to the hump area. The underside of this camel is impressed with the words MADE IN ENGLAND, though the characters are worn and partially illegible. Both figures are constructed from cast metal alloy. Approx 3.5 in each. Dimensions: 3.25 and 3.5 in long.
