3 Japanese Percussion Pistol Lighters - A Japanese trio of miniature novelty cigarette lighters designed in the form of mid-19th-century percussion cap pocket pistols. The lighters are constructed with brass-toned metal alloy barrels, hammers, and triggers, mounted to black-enameled metal frames and grips. Each grip features an inset brass-toned foliate plaque. The set comprises three pieces, each with its own dark wood-finished display stand; two bases are oval-shaped and one is a beveled rectangular shape. The word JAPAN is stamped vertically on the trigger of the lighter on the rectangular stand. On the remaining two examples, the word JAPAN is stamped into the top of the wooden base near the rear support. Each lighter features a side-mounted hammer and a knurled screw at the rear of the frame for flame or fuel adjustment. 6 to 8 in long
