60+ Antique & Vtg Clock & Skeleton Keys - This is an assortment of approximately 60 to 70 antique and vintage winding and skeleton keys, including examples from the Victorian period through the early 20th century. The collection features a variety of forms such as wing-handle (butterfly), T-handle, and crank-style clock winding keys, alongside barrel-style skeleton keys and smaller pocket watch keys. The pieces are constructed from cast iron, wrought iron, and brass, with some examples featuring nickel or chrome plating. Several items bear readable stamped identification. One brass wing-handle key features the stamped characters BRISTOL S on one wing and a capital D below the center hub. A green-patinated brass key is stamped with COLUMBUS on the upper wing and OHIO on the lower wing, with the digits 10 in the center of the handle. A heavily rusted iron key has the characters KEY stamped within an oval cartouche. Other keys throughout the lot bear various impressed digits, such as 6, 8, and 10, which typically correspond to horological size numbers. The lot includes both American regional hardware and European-style pieces. The winding keys feature square and circular internal sockets designed for spring-driven clock movements and various mechanical locks.
