WWII German Heer Panzer Enlisted Man Machine-Woven Breast Eagle - A World War II German Army (Heer) Panzer enlisted man's breast eagle (Hoheitsabzeichen). The insignia is machine-woven using silver-grey rayon thread on a black woven backing. This specific color combination was designated for the black service tunics worn by armored vehicle crews (Panzertruppen). The design features a straight-winged eagle clutching a wreathed swastika. The piece is in unissued condition, having been cut from a production roll, and the reverse exhibits the characteristic negative image of the embroidery typical of period machine-woven insignia produced in the BeVo style. No maker marks are visible on the patch.
