Wood & Tin Corn Seed Sorter, Red Paint - 21x12 An antique primitive agricultural tool identified as a corn or grain seed sorter. The piece consists of a rectangular wooden frame constructed with a recessed base. The bottom of the tray is fitted with a corrugated galvanized metal sheet featuring a consistent grid of small, uniform rectangular perforations designed for sifting and grading seeds or grain. The metal screen is held in place by small nails driven through the wooden frame. The frame retains much of its original red-painted finish.
