Edwardian Sterling Silver Mesh Evening Bag - An antique ring-mesh evening bag dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The body is constructed of fine sterling silver ring mesh in a trapezoidal form, finished at the base with nine suspended ball dangles. The hinged frame features an ornate repousse design with floral, leaf, and scrollwork patterns. It is equipped with a push-button closure and is suspended from a metal link chain handle. The interior rim of the frame is stamped STERLING in block letters, accompanied by a small, illegible circular punch mark.
