13 PA Fishing License Buttons 1934-1975 - 19.5x22 A collection of 13 vintage Pennsylvania Resident Citizen's Fishing License buttons, spanning several decades from 1934 to 1975. These pin-back buttons were historically issued to resident anglers to be worn as visible proof of licensing. Most of the collection features the state keystone symbol as a central design element in various color combinations including red, green, blue, maroon, and yellow. The 1975 button is circular and features the slogan Join the Fight for Clean Water. The buttons are constructed with metal backs and printed or lithographed fronts, many protected with a celluloid layer. Several buttons retain original paper license inserts or fragments on the reverse.
