Smith & Wesson Stenciled Wood Chest - 37x21x17 This antique wooden storage chest is constructed of solid wood boards with a dark reddish-brown stained finish and molded edges on the lid and base. The top of the lid features black stenciled lettering in three lines reading SMITH, AND, and WESSON. The chest is equipped with two heavy cast iron drop handles on the sides and a small circular metal keyhole escutcheon on the front panel. The interior is unfinished and includes a small lidded till box on the left side. Two long iron strap hinges support the lid.
