Pair Pyrex Forest Fancies Mixing Bowls - This is a matching pair of vintage mixing bowls produced by Corning Glass Works under the Pyrex brand. The bowls feature the Forest Fancies pattern, which was manufactured between 1981 and 1986. Each bowl is constructed from opaque white opal glass with a light tan, speckled fired-on exterior finish. The decoration consists of dark brown lithograph-style graphics illustrating mushrooms, wild grasses, and forest flora. The Cinderella style design includes two integrated handles of different sizes that also function as pouring spouts. The base of the smaller bowl bears embossed marks: 442, 1 1/2 QT, PYREX, FOR OVEN AND MICROWAVE, NO STOVETOP OR BROILER, CORNING NY USA, and 10. The larger bowl matches the shape and design of the 443 2.5-quart model.
