The collection features political campaign materials, regional Ohio history items, commercial advertising, and novelty souvenirs. Highlights include two lenticular flicker buttons: one for Barry Goldwater's 1964 presidential campaign and one for Adlai Stevenson. Commercial interest is represented by a large B.F. Goodrich advertising button and a Pizza Hut Book It! reading program pin. Regional items include a registered Ohio chauffeur badge, a 1941 Ohio State Association of Township Trustees and Clerks convention button, a Youngstown Scholl-Choffin Co. union button, and a Men's Apparel Club of Ohio button. Reverse markings on the flicker buttons identify production by Vari-Vue by Pictorial Productions Inc. of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. and Pictorial Productions Inc. of Tuckahoe, N.Y.
