Painted Wood Solon Lions Thumbs-Up Sign - 24x33.5 A mid-century hand-painted wooden advertising sign constructed from thick wood or plywood. The sign is cut into the silhouette of a hand performing a thumbs-up gesture. The surface is painted white with black outlines defining the fingers and a shirt cuff. A black circle containing four dots represents a button on the left side of the cuff. The lower section of the sign is painted black and features a jagged, sawtooth-style bottom edge. The central portion of the hand displays hand-painted text in red, reading SOLON LIONS in a stylized script above HAM DINNER in bold block lettering. The reverse side is finished in a weathered off-white paint and features several small mounting holes.
